“I did not win and in fact I was called into the principal’s office for a consultation with my parents. But that was the beginning of my literary career…” -William Joyce, author, illustrator, filmmaker
Consultation can mean so many things. There’s a consultant for everything, an expert in a field that is there to explain specialized knowledge to people interested in learning more. For clients, it’s an opportunity to gain advice and become inspired to take action that will help them get to where they want to be. Here at Couple of Creatives, we offer digital marketing consultation service. Considering us for a consultation meeting? Here is what to expect.
Scheduling Your Consultation Meeting
Consultation is an appropriate place to start when hiring Couple of Creatives for any digital marketing project. Perhaps you already have an idea in mind of what you’re needing, it still doesn’t hurt to schedule a formal consultation meeting first so we can share our professional wisdom on the topic at hand. You may contact us anytime to schedule a quick 1-hour meeting to ensure everything is on a track to success. When scheduling your consultation meeting, please give us as much information as possible about your business and expectations for our meeting, so we can prepare accordingly.
Our rates are negotiable depending on how complex the topic is. Our average consultation rate is $75/hour, ranging from $50-100/hour. For example, if you are looking for some professional advice on an existing topic, we may only charge $50/hour. However, if the consultation meeting is in regards to specific business analysis and aiding with conceptualization for your business, we may charge more around $75/hour. Then, if you are looking for more one-on-one technical support or tutoring, we may charge all the way up to $100/hour for a session. Our pricing is carefully thought out based on the service being delivered and we always ensure our clients get the value for which they pay with satisfaction guaranteed. We request payment prior to the meeting via Paypal or Venmo.
Couple of Creatives is based in St. Louis, Missouri. We are available to meet face-to-face with clients in surrounding areas. We meet in coffee shops, co-working spaces or travel to our clients’ offices. For clients in far away places, we telecommunicate. We are available to chat via Skype, Facetime, GoToMeeting, or whatever app our clients prefer. Sometimes, clients have no need to see our faces and we may just schedule a phone meeting.
Creative Consultant – With Whom Will I Be Speaking?
Two creative consultants comprise Couple of Creatives, Alyssa Aldrich (that’s me) and my partner, Andy Leverenz. Depending on your business needs will determine with whom you speak. If it’s regarding digital marketing best practices, strategy, graphic design, website development, content marketing, business analysis, goal setting or general creative conceptualization, you’ll likely get scheduled with yours truly. However, if you want technical support on complex web development topics, Andy, our technical director, will certainly be your go to. He’s fluent in web programming languages and very helpful in tutoring other creative web developers. Basically, we’re both available. You may even get us both in the meeting together. However, we’ll usually assign just one of us to lead the consultation meeting.
Preparing For Your Consultation Meeting
Once you schedule your consultation meeting, it is time for you to prepare for it. In order to make our time together as productive as can be, collect your thoughts prior to the meeting. Have a list of specific questions ready to ask.
